Compacting is important in construction. With compacting, we use mechanical means to increase the density of the soil, which provides a more stable area for your construction project and should reduce settling. Our Backfill & Compacting services involve refilling an area after it has been excavated.  Back Fill Compacting is necessary to refill an area that had to be excavated to complete work, such as water main repair.  It may also be part of the pre-construction compacting process.

We had an amazing experience with Zeus Excavating! They came out to level and flatten an area for our above-ground pool, and the results were perfect. They were professional, punctual, and paid close attention to every detail to make sure the ground was level and ready for installation. The work was completed efficiently, and they left the area clean when they were finished. It’s clear they take pride in the quality of their work. I highly recommend Zues Excavating. I recently needed emergency help burying my horse, and Zues understood how important and time-sensitive the situation was. Despite weather delays and difficult conditions, he worked hard to get out to my property as quickly as possible. He was respectful, professional, compassionate, and did excellent work. He treated both me and the situation with care and understanding during a very difficult time. His pricing was also extremely fair, especially considering that other excavators quoted outrageous prices. We had a great experience with this excavating company installing a culvert across our driveway. From start to finish, the work was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. Jesus and Joshua were especially professional, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to make sure everything was done right and left the area clean when they finished. Contacted Zeus Excavating to get some ground leveled for the pool that we had recently bought. Jesus, was extremely professional, had excellent communication which is hard to find these days. Not to mention very punctual and knowledgeable. Upon arrival he surveyed the area which we wanted worked on to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. This is one of the first contractors I’ve had positive experience with. I had a water leak in the front yard. My gas line and electrical line crisscrossed the area of the leak. The water pipe was about 9 feet down and about an inch from my driveway’s edge. Zeus excavating managed to avoid all the obstacles. I’m glad I found this company. We contracted with Zeus Excavating to solve drainage problems for our 5 acre property.  They installed a culvert, road material and regraded our long driveway to include a drainage swale. It is functional and looks great. Communication was great throughout the planning, waiting (weather) and installation. The completion time estimate was right on plan. We hired Zeus Excavating to dig out areas too hard for our tractor, and to prep an area we want to move a conex container, park our camper, and get rid of areas that flash flood. We had 4 truck loads of 60 ton of crushed  concrete aggravate delivered and spread, too. The area they leveled and completed for us is about 50' x 40' Jesus and Joshua did all of this in six hours. They own a beast of a skid steer! They had solutions to all the water run off areas we struggle with and we are already planning for another phase of work for our driveway. 100% recommend! And his pricing is spot on for all of this! He was able to add on additional problem areas and had another delivery truck dumped when we decided (the day of) to add more aggregate behind our shed.

Jesus is very communicative, timely (early, even!), and professional. He also answers his phone (calls and texts) right away! We had him level an area for a shed and he does meticulous work. He and his teammate worked well together and were very efficient. They made sure the work was done right and his estimate was fair and he stuck to it. Our driveway was in very bad shape.  Jesus came out and suggested using recycled asphalt.  I've been in the construction industry for over 30 years and I never used this product.  I had 1800 sq.ft. of driveway to have redone. I am very happy with his suggestion.  Jesus and Josh did a very professional job. Thank you for your job well done.
